For our young guest Kaylee, a Wish Came True when she was invited for a passenger ride around the park in a real fire engine truck, a super quint fire-service apparatus.
Kaylee had been seeing the crews coming and going, she knew how dangerous their jobs are and was so happy to see her true Aussie hero’s turn up in our caravan park.
Chief Jeremy crowned her with her own special fire services helmet for the joyride and totally inspired by her experience Kaylee writes beautiful thank you notes to all the taskforces for all their hard work after a challenging few days of firefighting.
On their last evening with us, and everyone having enjoyed their time at the park BBQ and sitting with the ‘Firies’, our park Guest Lee knelt down on one knee and proposed to Dannii, and Danni said Yes!
Dannii, Lee, Kaylee and their loving dog Honey had travelled an epic 5,500 kms from Far North Queensland to begin a new chapter in their lives in Kalgoorlie.
Congratulations on your engagement and we wish you the very best (P.S if you need a Park venue for your Wedding please let us know!).
We said Goodbye to 2019 with a spectacular blood orange sunset on the 31 December 2019, the aura in the sky was amazing and so bright, it took your breath away!
Happy Australia Day everyone, do drop in and stay with us this long weekend.
Safe Travels.
